Sea Graves is a post-hardcore band from Brooklyn, NY.
Born and bred in CT bands With Honor, First Aid Kit, and Running on Rooftops, they moved to NYC, and found that with each new project they were slowing down, turning down, and losing what once propelled them. So in 2011 they hit the reset button.
Pulling from influences like Drive Like Jehu, Jawbox, Lifetime, and Shellac, Sea Graves seeks to recapture the energy and aggression of the bands that once inspired them to start writing music in the first place, and to make their own mark on the community that helped shape them.
